The dual duct VAV and CAV mixing units are used for the pre-pressure independent regulation in VAV and CAV control units. The independent measuring and adjustment of volumetric flow rates of cooling and heating air guarantees exact regulation of supply air temperature along with the precise adherence to the volumetric flow rates.

The Mixing Units are characterized by

• no mixing drops through separated cooling and heating air regulation
• pre-pressure independence
• very little inherent resistance
• compact construction
• exact, flow insensitive volumetric flow rate measuring through 12-point-callipers each in cooling and heating air connection
• mixing effectiveness over 95%, meaning at a temperature difference between heating and cooling air of 20 K, the temperature at the outlet varies by 1 K

Casing made of galvanised sheet steel with thermal and acoustic insulation. Double-layer damper blades with SBR-seals, with smooth bearing. Amount of air factory setted.

• Electronic control: Belimo NMV, Belimo VRD + SM24V, Sauter RLE + ASM114, Siemens GLB.
• Pneumatic control: Sauter RLP

Controls and drives are factory mounted and completely connected and wired.
